COVID-19 Notice to the Public

We will be limiting personal contact for non-emergency situations and ask that citizens report non-emergency incidents over the phone (580-286-6554). If it is determined that an officer is needed at your location, one will be dispatched to you. Our front desk will be closed to walk-ins, but will have an officer meet you out front if you request one to take your information.

The Idabel Police Department serves the community in all aspects of law enforcement including but not limited to traffic, warrant service and investigations. The Idabel Police Department also serves and works closely with all other local agencies including the McCurtain County Sheriff's Office, the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigations, and the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.

The Idabel Police Department is made up of 27 dedicated members who serve the citizens of Idabel and the surrounding community.

We have three divisions consisting of:

  1. Administration
  2. Investigations
  3. Patrol
