Changes to operating procedures for COVID-19

In response to the increase of caution being taken during this time, we want to do our part to help reduce unnecessary exposures of COVID-19.  We ask our citizens to be patient and help us to continue to serve our community by making a few adjustments to our normal operating procedures.  Rest assured, the Idabel Police Department will provide an immediate, in-person response to crimes in progress and all emergency situations to help protect life, health, and property of our community.

Officers will remain on patrol 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

We will be limiting personal contact for non-emergency situations and ask that citizens report non-emergency incidents over the phone (580-286-6554). If it is determined that an officer is needed at your location, one will be dispatched to you. Our front desk will be closed to walk-ins, but will have an officer meet you out front if you request one to take your information.
