MAYORAL RESOLUTION NO. 2020-02

Mayoral Resolution No. 2020-01 was passed by the Idabel City Council in regular session, March 17, 2020, in which the City Council granted broad powers to the Mayor to enact Ordinances to control the spread of the COVID-19 virus pandemic among persons living and/or visiting in Idabel.

There is now a documented COVID-19 virus infection in McCurtain County.

BE IT ADOPTED BY THE MAYOR OF IDABEL, OKLAHOMA, concerning new curfew

Hours due to the corona-19 virus.  To follow the federal/CDC/State/ OK Gov Stitt/OK Health Dept

Rules and regulations to stop the spread of this virus, by the powers vested in me by the Idabel City Council by resolution passed March 17, 2020, Mayoral Resolution No. 2020-01, as Mayor of Idabel, Oklahoma, I, Craig Young, Mayor of Idabel, hereby declare an Emergency for the public health and welfare of the people of Idabel, and impose a “curfew” upon all citizens and vehicle traffic upon private and public areas and the city streets of Idabel, from 10:00pm until the following 5:00am, with the only exceptions being for personal safety and wellbeing.

Emergency Clause--- As Mayor, I hereby declare an Emergency so this Ordinance becomes effective immediately upon my signature, on this 3rd day of April, 2020, at 4:00 pm.
