BURN BAN EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY

We the undersigned McCurtain County Board of Commissioners, do hereby resolve to approve Resolution to declare Burn Ban  effective immediately for McCurtain County except for State Department of Agriculture and outside gas grills on fire retardant surfaces. Criteria has been met and requests have been made by Emergency Management, Fire Departments, and Forestry Services. The burn ban will expire in 14 days unless it is reissued, with the posibility of extension on a week-to-week basis to be determined at the Commissioners meeting.  Authortiy is given by Senate Bill 1816, sign into law June 3, 2008, modified Section 16-26.B1 .a-d, Title 2 of Oklahoma Statutes.
